Paris Go

Our francophile friends and we, like to catch up every now and then at Paris Go in Rathdowne Street, Carlton - and last night was the night.

Ok - it's menu is not very adventurous - there are daily specials but they are pretty standard french fare - as is the menu. And this is why we go - because standard french fare is delicious and we know what we are getting and they cook it all so well. The frites are so french - how come? And the other dishes too - french onion soup, boeuf bourguignon, steak au poivre, tarte aux poireaux to name just a few. And to complete the french experience the floor staff are all french so we can even get to practice our french every now and then. Love it - it's been there for years and I hope it will be there for many, many more.
